Our finely crafted Earlswood ® range of solid Wooden Shutters offer a stylish alternative to traditional fabric curtains and blinds.

Locally manufactured from solid, tight grained, light weight hardwoods especially chosen for their stability and proven resistance to warping.

Adjustable louvre shutters provide an effective way of controlling light, privacy and ventilation. They offer timeless elegance that will complement almost any style of decor and add value to your property by greatly improving the appearance of your home.

Common Features:

• Spray painted with high quality UV stabilised paints developed for South African conditions.

• Available in different configurations, hinged, bi-fold & sliding.

Window Shutters

The stylish look and flexibility of wooden adjustable louvre shutters make them the perfect choice for dressing windows. Through the use of different frames the shutters are fitted into the window opening giving an integrated clean look which will suit the most sophisticated decor.

By tilting the louvres up or down you can control the amount of light entering the room as well as prevent damage to interior furnishing by direct sunlight. The louvres can be split into top and bottom sections which allows them to be operated independently, the top set of louvres can be open while the bottom set are closed for added privacy – ideal for bathrooms and bedrooms.

Bespoke architraves, window liners, etc to match existing windows
For bathrooms, kitchens and wet areas we use a polyurethane twin pack catalysed paint which provides a durable and hard-wearing finish.

Door Shutters

Hinged and bi-folding panels are ideal for single and double doors. Different configurations are possible depending on the application; hinged left and right or bi-folding to the left or to the right. Typical applications would be patio doors, bathroom doors, room dividers, etc
For larger openings folding and stacking shutters are more suitable. The shutters can be configured to fold and stack to the left or right of the opening or to be split with half folding left and half right, depending on the application.

Hillaldam folding and stacking gear is used as a standard due to its robust construction
Choose between a surface mounted or recessed bottom track
For bathrooms, kitchens and wet areas we use a polyurethane twin pack catalysed paint which provides a durable and hard wearing finish.

Sliding Panels

Sliding panels are the ideal choice when space is limited and it is not possible for the shutter panels to fold and stack, for example in a bedroom where there is limited space between the doors and the furniture.
They are also perfect for creating a partition between a bedroom and an en-suite bathroom or between a dressing room and a bedroom.
The shutters can also be designed to slide into a cavity wall and be concealed when opened.
