Our Shutters, Bespoke Screens and Slimline Metal Doors are locally manufactured by us in KZN, when you deal with us you deal directly with the manufacturer.

With more than 20 years’ experience in the industry we have a good understanding of what is required to meet our customer's expectations. We are involved in the complete process, from the time that the initial measurements are taken, proposal and concept design, manufacture right through to the final installation and hand over. 

We have a fully equipped factory with "state of the art" machinery which allows us to manufacture custom-made solutions to your exact requirements, be it a special shape or a unique colour.

Typical lead times, from final measure to installation is 4 weeks (20 working days).

Earlswood Living is a proud family-run business that began in 2005 on the verandah of our home in Earlswood Place. 

It was there that the name “Earlswood” was born, as we handcrafted our very first shutters. What started as a small passion project quickly grew beyond the verandah, leading us to open our factory in Glen Anil.

As Earlswood Living has continued to grow, so has our product offering and manufacturing capabilities. Our move to a larger factory at Bridge Park marked an exciting new chapter for Earlswood Living.

Dave Meek is the owner and driving force behind Earlswood Living. He founded what was originally known as Earlswood Shutters in 2005, starting as a local manufacturer of custom-made Wooden Shutters. Dave’s passion lies in building contemporary designs, and his goal is to create beautiful bespoke solutions that complement the aesthetics and add value and elegance to both residential and commercial spaces.

Over nearly two decades, Dave has grown the business and he continues to lead the full in-house design and manufacturing process at our factory in KwaZulu-Natal, ensuring that every product is built to the highest standard—from concept to completion.

Pippa joined the family business in 2024 to lead Sales and Marketing and support the expansion of Earlswood Living into Johannesburg and Cape Town. Based in Johannesburg, Pippa oversees client relationships and coordinates our Johannesburg and Cape Town installation teams, working closely with Dave to ensure a seamless experience and exceptional service from start to finish.  

All Earlswood Living products are manufactured at our factory in KwaZulu-Natal. We have installation teams based in KwaZulu-Natal, Johannesburg and Cape Town, providing installation services in these regions. We also supply and deliver nationwide through our courier partner, Miles and Beyond, with delivery generally taking 2–5 working days. For projects outside of our installation areas, we can deliver directly to site on a supply-only basis. The client will be responsible for appointing a suitable local installer. Earlswood Living will provide the appointed installer with an installation guide and the necessary installation information to assist with the process.
